"Life is a string" I've heard someone

"Life is a string"
I've heard someone say that once, and I believe it's true.  It just goes on and on and on, until one day, when it's been too used,  it brakes. In too pieces. One of the pieces you just have to let behind, you can't help it, but the other, is like a completely new start, a fresh beginnig in an other place.  Sometimes there are knots on the string, but somhow, people always manage to get through them, and leave them far far behind, where nobody can ever remember them
